of Sachsen-Anhalt (Germany)

In Germanys region Sachsen-Anhalt the state stud in the small village Prussendorf is a centre of horse breeding and horse sports for East Germany. Many tournaments for young horses, dressage riders and show jumpers as well as breeding shows developed a well-respected meeting place for horse business.

Besides keeping high quality stallions for horse breeding the state stud provides performance tests for stallions and mares. The well educated riders also train young horses and prepare them for competitions. Furthermore the attached riding school promotes riders, carriage drivers and trainers.

There are two characteristics the state stud follows in the daily work: train the horses according to the classic principles of the training scale and keep high standards of quality in food and accommodation.
